Summer Family Camp 2009
Doug Easterday
Wednesday, July 29 - Sunday, August 2, 2009

Doug EasterdayDoug was raised in the Midwest in the home of a Pastor.  His childhood was filled with church, sports and family time.  He was a fun loving kid that always looked for ways to make a game out of anything. In high school he became acquainted with the Daystar Ministry which had a focus on Christian community and helping people overcome the problems of their past.  That developed into his joining that ministry, attending their training program, finding his sweet wife Joyce and setting a course for his life.
As Doug observed the church and the body of Christ at large, he noticed that many in the church were not happy, struggling with many issues and not walking in victory. This began a burden for the Body of Christ to be healthy and fully alive and victorious in their walk with the Lord. Research and study led him to conclude that many people have a very distorted view of God and His character. About this time, one of Doug’s mentors, Jack Winter, began teaching about “The Father’s Love”. This ignited something within Doug’s own heart and the pursuit of Knowing God as Father has been his passion ever since.
Doug began traveling and speaking in 1979 and teaches nationally and internationally on The Father Heart of God, Raising Godly Children, Motivational Gifting, Leadership Principles, Marriage, and Becoming a Mature Christian.

Doug serves on the Pastoral staff of Christ’s Center Church and teaches extensively with Restoration Ministries and YWAM. The Easterdays have three adult children and one grandchild who live close to them in Oregon.
