Jerry and Linda Praetzel

Jerry and Linda are leaders in YWAM since 1977, they have worked in Eastern Europe, directed Discipleship Training Schools (DTS) and Crossroads schools (CDTS) , and pioneered and directed for YWAM's base in Idaho.For the past 12 years Jerry has been a full time teacher in the Body of Christ, speaking both nationally and internationally. He shares a message of healing and reconciliation for families and individuals, bringing people into a closer relationship with the Father through a deeper understanding of his loving heart.

*Registration: 3-5 PM Monday evening. Campfire dinner at 5:30 PM. First session: 7 PM. Retreat ends after breakfast on Saturday. Suggested donation: (5 nights, 14 meals) $150/adult or teen, $75/child 7-12, $35/child 3-6, children under 3 free. Deposit: $100/family, $75/couple, $50/single.

Peter Iliyn, Northwest Director of YWAM

Peter Iliyn was born in Paraguay, South America to parents who came from Russia. Raised to speak the Russian language, he has been able to cross barriers throughout the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe with his ministry. Trained as an electrical engineer, Peter joined Youth With a Mission in 1976. He has traveled and ministered in over 75 countries, including China, Mongolia, Argentina, Mexico, Australia, Western Europe and Eastern Europe. Peter has an amazing story to tell of God’s sovereign intervention in his family, going back to his grandfather who was miraculously led out of Russia by God after the Bolsheviks seized power in the 1917 revolution. He is currently the North America Field Director for Youth With A Mission. Peter and his wife Luba have four children and live in Salem, Oregon.

This is a new style of family retreat centered around doing things together as a family, a participation-driven format where parents and kids will join together in learning activities that engage the spirit, soul and body as well as the mind through group activities and discussion. Work, play, and pray together and see your relationships deepen. CRC Directors Tim and Julie Hansen will lead

family activities that will help you to understand one another better and appreciate each other more. We would love to tell you all about the details of the program but we want you to enjoy the element of surprise! This short retreat will be packed full of them! Duane and LeeAnn Rawlins

Duane has a doctorate in Education and spent many years in public school service as a teacher, counselor, coach, principal and superintendent. For the last 33 years he has owned and operated a real estate company. He has a passion for bringing godly principles into the business world and was instrumental in the founding of the Salem YWAM base. LeeAnn has years of experience in her first love as wife, mother and grandmother. She has also been a successful business woman for many years. After 37 years together, Duane’s wife, Betty, died of cancer. LeeAnn’s husband, Willard, died of an aneurysm after 24 years of marriage. Duane and LeeAnn married in 1986. Each brought three adult children to the marriage and a combined total of 15 grandchildren. Their families are truly the joy of their lives! Another joy is teaching and counseling couples at marriage retreats. The Rawlins have written several books and teach around the world with Youth With A Mission. Plus: Writer’s Workshop with Carol Zetterberg Tuesday-Friday 4:00-5:30 p.m.
