LABOR DAY WEEKEND

We are excited and delighted to have not just one, but TWO highly qualified teachers and leaders from the same church coming to CRC for Labor Day Weekend! Both these men have compelling testimonies of God’s ability to use anyone willing to impact the world for God. Senior Pastor Dean Hackett and Men’s Ministry Pastor Reagan Crouch, serve side-by-side at Living Faith Church in Hermiston, OR.

Pastor Reagan is a tremendously personable leader of men with a passion for discipleship. He is full of stories of the adventures he has had as an entrepreneurial businessman bringing the gospel into the workplace. Reagan works in agribusiness as the Safety Supervisor at JSH Farms.

Summer Recap at CRC

We have been having a great summer! We just finished up our two weeks of Summer Family Camp. We received powerful teaching from Pastor Dan Stecher and Doctor Bradley Stuart. It was incredible seeing such growth in myself, the other staff and the guests who attended. We were truly blessed by the teaching they brought.

We are so thankful for the Seasonal Staff that came for several weeks during the summer. They did a wonderful job teaching the children’s classes, cleaning the facilities between camps, cooking, doing dishes and facilitating the Family Fun Day. We would not be able to make the Summer Family Camps happen without them and their hard work.

During my time with the Lord this verse really stood out to me, “Ears to hear and eyes to see— both are gifts from the LORD” Proverbs 20:12. The ability to hear what God is saying and to have eyes to see what He is doing is a gift from Him. I was (and am) encouraged to pray that God will open my ears even more to His voice and what He is saying to me. As well as asking Him to open my eyes to be able to see situations as He would; through His lens instead of mine.

He has been answering that prayer in powerful ways. Speaking to me as I drive, sitting at my desk, even as I wake up in the morning and am still laying in bed. He has given me insight to see and understand things that have been perplexing and did not make sense. He is a faithful God who hears our prayers. I would encourage you as you go through your day to ask God to open your ears and eyes to what He is doing, then to watch and listen in anticipation of what He will show you.
