Thanksgiving Retreat!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Retreat! What a great way to spend the weekend, with friends and family. Summer and the other kitchen staff outdid themselves with the food and Pastor Andy’s messages were powerful and applicable. What a blessing to be able to hear his teaching. God blessed us with beautiful sunny weather!

Pastor Andy went through John 6 during one of his messages. Sharing about how God uses the trials in our lives to test us and cleanse us.

Leaving the teaching we were challenged with the question of, how much do we desire to be like Jesus versus how much do we just want to be comfortable?

May we all seek to see trials as a time to grow more like Christ.

We are delighted to have Mike Shrock as our guest speaker! He has been teaching on marriage for years and has powerful things to share that will encourage and strengthen your marriage.

Sweetheart weekend is a favorite by guests and staff alike. Bring your spouse for a weekend of marriage building teaching, a festive banquet and free time to just be together!

Accomplished Projects!

Our hot water storage tank in the Main Lodge broke. It was a joint effort diagnosing the problem, ordering the new hot water tank and installing it! We are delighted to have hot water storage back in the Main Lodge!

The Director’s home is finished! Mixed in among all the other projects happening the director’s house has new siding, some new windows and the painting is done! Almost everyone on staff got involved at one point in the completing of this project.

Bryan and Cayman made their own tree trimming device that they mounted on the tractor. They are keeping the grounds and buildings looking so good! We greatly appreciate our maintenance team!
