Larry & Alice Swayze

We are blessed to have our dear friend Larry Swayze as the guest speaker for this retreat. Larry is the pastor of Redeemed Community Church in Molalla, OR and the founder and director of Sky View Horse Ranch.

Larry says, “I love life, and have more interests than time. I am married to my beloved Alice, have seven kids, pastor a church of wonderful people, train young men and women to be godly leaders. I love kids and have worked with youth and families for most of my adult life. I care about people. I have always been involved in the lives of kids; as a youth leader, missions leader, speaker, camp director, and teacher. I travel to orphanages and children's homes in Mexico and India, taking along those who are interested in making a difference in people's lives.”

Alice is a full-time mother, grandmother, and serves alongside Larry in ministry, bringing joy to each day. They have been married for 46 years and have 7 children and 16 grandchildren.

Our staff and guests will share in a thanksgiving celebration at 4:00 pm in the Rotunda. At this time you'll have the opportunity to share a brief testimony of what you are thankful to God for or to share your thanks in the form of a song, poem, skit, etc.  If you are feeling spontaneous, you can draw a card and follow the instructions on it.

Thursday evening, from 7-10 pm, you'll have free time to relax, visit, or play. Bring a favorite board game or borrow one of ours.

Celebrate the richness and scriptural depth of this holiday weekend with the family of God!
