THEME for the weekend: Living in Thanksgiving: Marvel at the Magnitude of His Mercy

Living in Thanksgiving

Marvel at the Magnitude of His Mercy

Jason O’Connor is the Missions Pastor at Camas Valley Christian Fellowship. Jason graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Simpson University in 2000. He has served the Lord in various forms of ministry for 35 years and has spent the last 18 years personally working with the persecuted, impoverished, isolated, and unreached around the world.

Jason worked as a contractor before selling everything to go on the mission field. From 2008 to 2012 he and his family lived on a remote island in Southern Philippines, where they partnered in starting a School of Ministry. His main passion is to teach others how to study, apply, and teach the Word of God. Jason likes to travel, hike, camp and kayak. He has been married to his wife Crystal for 30 years; they have three children and two grandchildren.

Our staff and guests will share in a thanksgiving celebration at 4:00 pm in the Rotunda. At this time you'll have the opportunity to share a brief testimony of what you are thankful to God for or to share your thanks in the form of a song, poem, skit, etc.  If you are feeling spontaneous, you can draw a card and follow the instructions on it.

Thursday evening, from 7-10 pm, you'll have free time to relax, visit, or play. Bring a favorite board game or borrow one of ours.

Celebrate the richness and scriptural depth of this holiday weekend with the family of God!
